WHAT WILL THE CORRECTION OF UMBILICATED NIPPLES TREAT?
There are different levels of umbilical nipples, classified according to the intensity of the symptoms.
The nipple is umbilicated (inverted) at rest, but can easily become externalized by stimulation: pressure around the nipple, exposure to cold or pregnancy.
The nipple is umbilicated (inverted) at rest, manual externalization is more difficult and it retracts immediately when released.
The nipple is umbilicated (inverted) all the time, it is impossible to exteriorize.
ANESTHESIA, DURATION, HOSPITALIZATION
The operation is performed on an outpatient basis with a return home the same day.
It is a quick procedure that lasts between 30 and 45 minutes on average.
Hospitalization for umbilical nipples is done during the day.
