Il existe différents niveaux de mamelon ombiliqué, classé en fonction de l’intensité des symptômes.

Le mamelon est ombiliqué (inversé) au repos, mais peuvent facilement s’extérioriser par une stimulation : pression autour du mamelon, l’exposition au froid ou la grossesse.

C’est une intervention rapide qui dure entre 30 et 45 minutes en moyenne.
